Those who love you are not fooled by mistakes you have made or dark images you hold about yourself. They remember your beauty when you feel ugly; your wholeness when you are broken; your innocence when you feel guilty; and your purpose when you are confused. —Alan Cohen (via onlinecounsellingcollege)

After graduation, we came back to my place to pre-game/party than headed downtown for the night. I had such an amazing night with my friends and let’s say, I was GONE! Haha.

“Life will never be perfect no matter how hard you try. Even if you pour your heart and soul into it, you will never have that perfection you seek. There will always be broken hearts. There will always be days where nothing goes right. But I have accepted and learned that even the most imperfect things will always be made better with love, laughter and joy.”

Today is May 2nd, 2013 marks me and my boyfriend’s 1 month anniversary of being together. Hahahaha****

This was very sweet of Brigid. One of my classmate who sent it to all of us through e-mail. (= I’m so happy for everyone who worked hard and we’ve come a long way, can’t wait to walk on stage with everyone next week.

Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.

We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don’t even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets!C. To Ben and I

Tired, Exhausted, and Drunk.

This photo, I was so tired, exhausted, and drunk. I got done writing a 5 page paper on Cancer, studied for a bit for next week’s exam, and I left to Craig’s house to hangout for a couple of hours. We both finished a 12 case of Corona Extra. He had to go to his family’s dinner so I left to meet up with Cindy and Sam. Each of us girls took a shot and I was planning on going out too but I decided to stay in and sleep early. I had to wake up the next morning by 7:30AM for my dental volunteer work at Gundersen Lutheran for mouth guards. Sigh, I knocked out by mid-night, haha.

I had a fabulous weekend in Minnesota. Alex and Peter, thank you for making my night an awesome one with great memories! I had so much fun at The Rouge: The Lounge in downtown Minneapolis. I just absolutely love the nightlife there, it’s so alive and everyone starts pretty early with the drinking. We stopped at the Butcher and the Boar: Garden Beer. Anywhoo, it was a great weekend with great company.
